Looking for something that is fun and relatively inexpensive to do with your kids? Look no further than a paper plate and scissors. This craft is so quick and easy . The great part is that you probably have the materials readily available in your home.
All you need are paper plates, scissors, yarn, a hole punch, and finger paint.
Instructions:
- Start with the fun part. Cover the entire paper plate with paint.
- Wait for it to dry. Use the scissors and cut the plate from the edges in a spiral going all the way until you reach the snake’s head.
- Use the hole punch to make the eyes for the snake on the head (innermost circle).
- It is through the “eye holes” that the string, or yarn is secured.
Now you are ready the let the snake run wild.
Summer is a time for your imagination to run wild. Therefore, using a little creativity and some basic household materials you can create anything.
Enjoy! Have fun!
